Default Crooked rotor mast on Gyro Havoc?

I have an Air Hogs Gyro Havoc. Right out of the box it appears to have a crooked mast supporting the rotor. Before I take a heat source to it and try to bend it straight, I thought I'd ask the gurus if this is supposed to be this way or not.

As you can see from the photo, the there's a distinct crook in the rotor support about 1/2" below the rotor.

I'd appreciate any advice I can get!

Thanks.

Why try to repair it, take it back and get another one that isn't damaged

But the question is, is it *supposed* to be crooked?

I couldn't imagine any reason for it to be crooked, all I can see is the shaft wobbling and the blades wobbling even worse, this would create one huge vibration in the body not to mention making it totaly uncontrolable
BUt I have never owned one so I could be wrong
