Nice collection Tim!! I maidened my new 250W SS yesterday, but it was 15-20mph gusting....still crazy at 57!!! It hung there 100ft. up and going nowhere, just hovering. It turned downwind and shot off at 300mph....just missing a flight of pigeons!!! Eventually hit the deck with broken mount and wire loose on lipo. A good days flight......

It is definately flying season. I got 2 batteries through the Bug and 1 through the Swift2 in the yard yesterday, hopefully I'll get to do the same today.

Tam, did you get into micros? I added a blade mcx and a Vapor to my micro fleet and have the su-26 micro on the way. I had to get a DSM2 module for my radio, but that module has made the MCX into a beast and helped the Vapor as well.

Tim - I didn't get into micro's 'cos knowhere to fly them indoors. And the weather here is too windy outside. I managed to build a plane for my suitcase and tried it today....a great fly.

Its just a 10mm wooden stick with an E-Max 2805 up front and an old GWS Beaver wing with LiteStick tail feathers and 800 2S....loads of power but the stick broke on landing so will change to an ally one tomorrow.

Tam, the MCX is a heli. I thought you had a space for you and your clients to fly in?

I recently became the proud owner of a new Parkzone T-28 Trojan Thought it would only be right to give it the personal touch since there are quite a few where we fly.

Firt up I did some detailing to the cockpit and pilots. Also tinted the canopy green (doesn't show well in the pics but looks cool in person). Add bit of paintwork to the aircraft and Viola! Tomorrow will be it's maiden flight, wish me luck!

Hi Captain Doom,
wattage had this one about 4 years ago, was designed around a dodgy cobalt motor,i think most of them were written off as they are a bit twitchy (short fuselarge) until you get them set up. my one flys great on
a brushless lipo combo, i have just chucked a bigger motor in it so that i can run a 3 blade prop, so now it looks the part as well. i have a coupla vids on utube if your interested

Trumps, looks like the boomerang has a nice short takeoff and flys very nice. That landing was just a test for structural integrity right? LOL!

Here's my only foamy build I just completed. I also fly the HZ Super Cub, Art Tech P-51 and Great Planes Fokker D VII. I am currently building the GWS ME 262.

Regards,
Alan

hiya,
LOL Captain Doom, the landings with the Boomerang are always exciting, it more often than not noses over, should bend the undercarrage forward a bit.
GIusedtobe, that is one fine looking 109, always loved the look of the E"s and their paint jobs, always wanted to put one together, but it is just to much hassle to get GWS planes over here. Yours looks great mate!
i heard a little rumour that GWS was in trouble, not making any more planes!!!!! this would be a great shame.

Howdy guys. Here is a vid of the Unique in front of the house last night[X(][X(]. The end of the video is sketchy as a ghost has taken over the throttle.

Here are my three, all ParkZone: P-51 Mustang, J-3 Cub, and Micro Citabria. The custom paint job on the Mustang was done with spray paint and is not modelled on any particular historical Mustang. The colour scheme on the Micro Citabria was done with permanent markers. I'm hoping to maybe add a Hyperion Super Chipmunk 10e to the hangar sometime this summer.

Graham, they all look good, man I love this hobby! How does that Micro Citabria fly, are the micro's harder to control/see in the air than their full size counterparts?

The Micro Citabria flies better than any plane I've ever flown. No problem at all seeing it in the air either! (especially not with my paint job) To land the Citabria you honestly just take your hands off the controls and it glides in itself. It will self-correct from anything, and is great at just puttering around. Loops aren't too hard either with a slight dive. Definitely not an outdoor plane though, with even modest gusts of wind it will get blown away very easily. It is a blast in a gym or other large room though!

CaptainDoom, i like that SC!!! What kind of lettering did your friend use? What kind of paint? What kind of wheels did he use? AWESOME!!!
I hope to join the patrol soon with a Super Cub parkflyer in camouflage too. I saw the youtube video of it too. Thanks for sharing!
man that thing looks good. Enough illegal activity. I support our laws, and safety of our borders. I guess it's up to the Super Cub patrol to help make that happen.
