NEW SLOW STICK BOMB/CARGO DROPPER
Hello all,
I just thought I would share the results of a recent project... a dual dropper system for the GWS Slow Stick. Drops bombs, candy, paint balls, skydivers, etc. It can drop a left, right, or both bombs. What do y'all think... would anyone be interested in a small kit for this? I have also done a single dropper for lower powered Slow Sticks. I flew this one WITH a camera filming the drops... man it was heavy! Without the camera, it climbed great however. Any feedback would be appreciated!
EDIT: It climbs well even with a Sony camera attached. See video.

Nice job. I would love to see a video of it from the ground. Make a low pass where the camera can actually see what is going on and drop the bombs. That would be cool to see.
Maybe you could set up a target and see how close you can get

Can we see video ? How bout the camera facing down as the bombs drop away?
Most of the drop videos out there don't really catch the action. I agree, it would be nice to see it and see it up close. Hey great idea. Is it a servo doing that?

That sounds like a good add on to any SS. What power motor would you need to cary the bombs and how much actual weight is possible? how many extra channels would it take ? Like the idea and if it were not too expensive would be worth getting. The SS can become boring but the thearaputic value of dropping one on target would be worth it [>:]!!! Great idea.

RE: NEW SLOW STICK BOMB/CARGO DROPPER
I'm sure you could use the single dropper on a stock one, as long as you kept the payload light. Any brushless slow stick should have no problems with even the dual dropper setup. Thare are other means to to build a dropper for your Slow Stick, but I wanted to create an expandable, simple, all-in-one kit to make the installation quick and clean. My Slow Stick has carried 20 ounces up... others have done even more! Landing gear may need beefing up for high weights!
I like to set up a cardboard box (a sort of imaginary building) and try to bomb it, or I also have a small 3 foot rug with a bright "target" on it. It is very fun, and you can pass the transmitter around and try to bomb the cardboard "building" (just stay away from the real ones )!

p.s. I now have completed designs for Slow Stick single, dual, and triple drop systems. Triple is for higher powered SS's.

Nice product man. Know where I might find a drop tank and ARS for my S-3 project? Used to work on them, and I'm doing a scale (1/12) of VS-33's decomissioning showbird (saddest day of my life) so I just can't do without.
