Is that the recommended battery or am oversize overweight one? You CAN'T use an oversize battery in that plane.

If the CG is too far forward, the plane won't fly. The speed required to have enough elevator authority to keep the nose up gets beyond the maximum the little thing can achieve.

If the elevator is set wrong... it will nose-dive straght out of your hand, Try mechanically adjusting the elevator to deflect upward just a little.

If this is your first plane... you made a serious error n your choice of trainers....

visit http://webpages.charter.net/rcfu/ Lots of information about fixing planes that "won't" fly. The F-86 WILL fly and will do quite well n the hands of someone who knows what he's doing and can read the instructins that came in the box.

Careful here. As the old saying goes, a nose heavy plane may fly poorly, but a tail heavy plane usually flies only once Large elevator throws will exaggerate this.

Also you may want to try letting it fly in ground effect before pulling out. I’ve done this on a few planes that didn’t accelerate too quickly, and/or were marginal on weight. I haven’t seen one of these fly, but from what I understand weigh is very crucial. From your description you aren’t letting it fly before trying to fly it, so to speak. At the very least even if power isn't enough, or it is too heavy, it should have an extended glide; not do what you are describing.

Heres a thought... did you connect the motor backward to the ESC? If the motor is turning backward... the plane will do as you described. (easier to miss the reversed thrust with the DF than with a prop blowing the air over your hand)

Is the Horizontal stab on straight? If its on at a bad angle... elevator won't ever get the nose up. (wing could be mounted crooked too...)
