Multiplex Easy Star
Forgive me for such a dumb question, BUT. I bought a Multiplex Easy Star to fly with my kids. Two problems: the rudder barely turns the plane (uncontrollable in the slightest breeze)(slow to respond to rudder input?) and it proposes at anything over very low throttle ???? I have enlarged the rudder and added nose weight. It is somewhat more controllable and somewhat less prone to proposing. Any Ideas ???

RE: Multiplex Easy Star
Did you buy the RTF or the ARF?
The control rod should be in the second hole for the rudder, the third hole for the elevator. It has MUCH better control authority under power because of the airflow over the control surfaces. Installing the motor with too much downthrust can cause porposing, as well as being tailheavy. I solved this problem with a heavier battery pack (6x1400 mah from CheapBatteryPacks.com). |
