What exactely do both of you are looking for? How to get the PCM signal out or how to do the PCM->PC interface? The details on how to build a Serial interface are bundled with the FMS package. If you're just a bit familiar with electronic circuits building, this is a very simple thing to make.

The PCM signal is easy to find if you can have access for 30 seconds to a low-frequency oscilloscope (you may visit your local surplus store and "test" their scope if you don't). Simply attach the ground clip to the negative end of the battery pack and start probing all the terminals of the (typically) only IC on the PCB inside your TX; the PCM is unmistakeable. Glue a simple connector to the body of the TX and solder to it some coax wire.

Too bad I'm living too far away from either of you; I would have gladly modified yours. In recent times, I modded some 5 TX (some 27MHz, some 72MHz) to get out the PCM and it worked every single time.

The alternative is someone else who did the mod to you particular TX to show you exactely where to get the PCM.

thenamshow, if you're a bit patient. I'm waiting for my futaba skysport (will get it sometime next week) and will post details on how to make it work with FMS.

RE: Sim cable help!

Silly me. Just had the idea that a soundcard could be used to transfer the PCM to the PC and went to the FMS forum to post it.

Guess what? In the section called "Interface-Hardware ยป General Discussions", there's a wealth of information regarding this subject, including a link to a program that does exactely what I had in mind.

B.t.w., there are posts regarding the pinout of the Futaba TX and also some regarding the JR one.

Spend some time on that forum. You'll quickly find out what it takes to connect your TX to FMS.
