alfa planes
has anyone ever tried the alfa planes warbirds on hobby-tron.com? I just found their website and they look like great planes. Just wondering if anyone could give me their feedback on them if they own one.

RE: alfa planes
I've assembled and used many Alpha Warbirds:
-P-51 ''Mary'' and regular models; -P-47 ''Chow Hound'' -Corsair (both models). They are quick to assemble, very light but also very fragile. No landing gear so the belly is easy to scratch. The P-47 is the easiest to fly, the corsair is ok and the P-51, difficult. To fly them you'll need very calm days, almost no wind otherwise they're moving around like feathers. I recommend looking at bigger airplanes in the 400 category (E-Flite P47 Thunderbolt for example, or World Models P-51). |
