GP C-12 ESC Question???

I'm setting up a GP Hellcat and wondering if I can use my Parkzone 3s 2200mah Li-po battery with the Electrifly C-12 Micro brushed ESC? I don't really want to buy another $50+ battery if I don't have to. Any info would be appreciated.

I have the same ESC and according to the manual you should be OK with a 3S lipo. Just make sure you dont over prop your setup and exceed the 12A rating of the ESC. If you plan to use the stock brushed motor I would not recomend using a 3S lipo. You might have to fork over the cash for a 2S instead

RE: GP C-12 ESC Question???

Thanks, forgive me for being a newbie, this is the first electric that I've set up. Sounds like I should do the 2s battery. Any idea of what I can expect for flight times with the stock set up???
