What chargers are you guys using at the field and home?

Hi all!

Just curious as to which chargers you guys like.

Seems like to me the MRC Super Brain is a really good deal... does two packs, does lithium as well as NiCDs and NiMHs, comes with a power supply (although I was going to make one out of an old computer power supply :) ), etc.

What else are you guys using? I'm thinking a charger to use at home and at the field is the way to go, which seems to be the trend, anyway, as most are powered by 12v.

Thanks!

Brandon

I use FMA's Cellpro 4S ($70). At home, I use the same charger with a computer power supply. It gives me starting charge percent and total mah put back in. That helped me determine my flight times without running out of battery capacity. The cellpro seems pretty safe since it determines the charge rate for you. It has a manual charge option but I never use it.

I use the Vision Peak Ultra, distributed by Horizon Hobby. It can be used on 120VAC or 12VDC without requiring a seperate power supply.

Awesome... thanks for the replies, guys!

Now I've got a couple more chargers to look up. :) I'm thinking about eventually getting a Hobbico MkII and Triton2. We'll see, though. I'd really like to find something that has two outputs.
