I designed unconventional plane "Russian Duck".
This conventible craft can be used as ordinary plane, as paraglider, as VTOL.
Besides I designed "Reverse Thrust System" (RTS), which ellows considerable to less landing distance.

About VTOL - no too mutch..it was only begin test
Test only hovering short time.
Problem a) probably I am pilot w/short experience, may beailerons work unsimmetrical, because plane turns slouly round of longitudinal axis. (Total ~ T1+T2=0)
I am thinkig, that need stabilization (gyro) at least two axises.
VTOL configuratin needs in next monthes many testes...When will open fly season I will make it

This guy seems to have done a lot of experimentation with gyro stabilization, and he seems to be pretty sharp and dedicated...

Just a point of reference for you to maybe get some ideas to help with your development.

I have a buddy with a CCPM helicopter who is starting to think about making it 3 axis gyro stabilized, but I think there's going to be a lot of "trial and error" (aka broken parts) involved, especially with a helicopter. A plane would probably be a bit more stable and therefore a bit less costly to experiment on, but I'm sure it's full of "opportunities for learning"!

dave is awsome. i havent seen a design of his i didnt like yet. the high alpha testing he did was incredible.
