This was given to me.
it has a 66'' wingspan, fiberglass fuse, Rom-air retracts(air hoses are brittle) Kraft radio system, a nice OS .61 engine. the tip of the tail is broken off. I've done lots of googling and haven't seen one like it. |
It could be a Patricia

I agree with Flywilly. I couldn't enlarge the photo, but it looks like a Bob Smith Patricia. Great flying Japanese F3A pattern design from 1975. There are a few photos posted in the classic RCU and RC Group forums.

Looks like one but yes the OP's has a cut/modified vertical stab/rudder.
How about showing a better view of the side profile with a vertical rudder image.... The profile of the stab/rudder assembly is very distinctive on the Patricia... Wingspan should be 64".
I don't know if it's a Patricia or not, but I have one I bought at an estate auction for $5 that looks exactly like yours except for paint job. Fin is angle down just like yours.
I was able to enlarge the photo. It's a Patricia with the top of the rudder missing.....
Yes Bob Smith Patricia
