Giant Top Flite P-47, ARC
Rich has been building this for the last couple of years and is now getting out of giant size, due to being weak and feeble-minded :-). He builds strong and straight and true, although not terrible "fancy"
It is ready to cover, with installed G-62, Robart retracts and all air fittings, servos, hinges glued and cowl painted B&W chessboard. He started to finish it in Coverite and dope, which should be pretty easy to peel off if you don't like Custom detail is wings come apart between flaps and ailerons, so fuse-center assembly fits easily in back of SUV |

No, I think it it needs some work before applying paint, depending on the degree of “slickness” you desire Rich finishes with Koverite/dope, then paint, which works really well for him: I’ve been flying a glow-powered AstroHogg he built for 25 YEARS But this 47 is only about half covered and doped, so you would have to finish that or (my plan if I have to keep it) peel the Koverite off and redo it with fiberglass, a medium I’m more comfortable with |
