Kavan FK-50 MKI, 50cc, four cycle, glow, RC engine. Excellent condition, Lightly used with full factory upgrade from MKI to MKIII, upgrade nameplate sticker and factory invoice included. Previous owner stated engine had not been flown since upgrade. Includes engine mount, dual glow harness and factory tool set. Also includes quantity two, very hard to find, matching original engine cylinder heads with "Continental" rocker arm covers to match engine plus an extra set of "Continental" rocker covers. The FK50 is a scale version of the world famous Continental engine that was used in many popular early light aircraft. This alternate firing 4 cycle twin is virtually vibration free and extremely fuel efficient.
The FK50 is the only model engine made with a "wet sump" oil system with an internal oil pump. The lowest or no oil content glow fuel can be used resulting in the best possible combustion mixture. Also available in ignition version with a two magnet electronic pick up system for advancing and retarding of spark. This allows an excellent low speed idle and reduces possibility of kick back during starting.
