RCU Forums - Scammer allert

Here is one of the ways it works. You place a wanted add. You get a response that says "I know someone who has the item or plane your looking for", and gives you an e-mail address. You send a message to the email address and ask about the item. They reply with a phone #. You try to call that # but there is no answer. Now that they have your # they correspond by text to make the deal. They will only take a Paypal friends and family payment. As you frequent users or Paypal know if you send money that way, Paypal treats it as money to a friend and not a purchase and will not refund your money if you don't get the item. This has been tried on me twice. Only do business if you talk to them on the phone.
