Default OS 46 FX on 7lbs plane

Wondering if an OS 46 FX will provide enough power for a 7lbs P-51
profile plane. I made it from scratch and it looks like the Tower Fun 51
or the Twister - 44" span, 16" cord, 23oz/sq. ft wing loading, balsa and
plywood construction. I have a OS 60 FX, but it seems a little large for
the airframe. Just some sport flying and easy IMACs. Many thanks
for any comments. Ollie B. Santa Rosa, CA. 707-538-1855

Since no one seems to answer..Should work. I have a smaller and heavier SPAD that works fine with a .40. Not really the same, not 3D, but flies quite well. Grease it in for landings, or beef up the landing gear.

I'm flying a SPAD Debonair, AUW 7.5 lbs. 22 oz. wing loading with OS .55AX. I use full power for takeoff but fly mostly at 1/2 throttle.

Im using it as my training plane re-entry to RC. The comment about beefing up the landing gear is on point. With my bad landings I have mangled a few landing gear assemblies. I've been using the cheap 1/8" aluminum found locally. My next assembly will be 1/4". It would also help if I can make better landings. A greased landing is best.
