Default O.S. 56 FS in light 3D plane--What prop?

I want to use my O.S. 56 four stroke in a light (under 4 lbs.) 3D plane. Will it work? What props should I try? Thanks for any comments.

I'd start with a 11.5 x4 or 12x4. You'll have to match the prop to the engine to the plane. But either of those would get it in the air.

I used a apc 12.25x3.75. Turns that engine into a little stump puller if you get it tuned out right. Under 4lb should be good too. Much over, and you'll want a bigger engine.

Thanks for the reply, Gordo and Balsageek. I luckily have all three props and will see which works best...hopefully this coming weekend.

AUW came in at 3 lbs. 11oz. It's a Hot knife. Couldn't resist the cheap price (on sale for $79). Hope it flies decent.

I got mine at LHS. It had minor wing damage, but check out this thread. Someone there says they found it for $79.99.

I used a 12-5 wood prop on my saito 56 with 20% nitro , it was vertical on 4lb profile .
