Took mine out for the third time to the field yesterday. As with every aircraft, you have to learn what it wants and needs in order to perform various manuvers. People don't realize that you can have 2 exact same A/C though each needs different inputs to accomplish the same manuver. Well..... I discovered what mine wanted and needed yesterday! 'I had a ball!'
- upright flat spins without loosing any altitude
- climbing inverted flat spins
- climbing tornados
- 'hellaish' alpha knife edge manuvers
- knife edge spins - to die for! No loss of altitude
- knife edge loops with ease!
- and a few manuvers that I have not idea what to call them!
Bottom line.... my kind of aircraft!!! <LOL>
I think that I am going to get another just in case I 'dumb thumb' mine, also known as - 'Profile Gods take a sacriface'! <LOL>
I am going to order new digital servos for the tail to see if I can get rid of my brass spinner nut. Those MPI870s are just too heavy in the tail. Can't wait to see what it will do without that extra nose weight, and hopefully getting the CG 1" behind the spar, where it belongs.

I put the Tetherite legs on from [link=http://ohiomodelplanes.com/order/]http://ohiomodelplanes.com/order/[/link]. I was bending the stock gear like crazy too. I fly out of farmland a lot, and these are better for the rough ground.

OK, the 91 is bolted on. Hope to start the break in tomorrow night. Maybe I can get some flights in this weekend if the wind cooperates. AUW is 4lbs 12oz. I still have to move the battery to the tail to balance it. I'm gonna start with a 14x4, but have some 13x4's to try too. I added some hardwood to the mounting rails for extra support.

that's a big engine for such a bird !
After having flown mine with a 50SX I believe that this will be too much.

of course this is my opinion only

After talking with a few guys that have 91's and 100's on these, I lost most of my concerns. Throttle management my friend. The fast spool up and the 13x4 and 14x4 props is gonna be nice.

I agree with the last few postings - TOO MUCH MOTOR! Throttle management is absolutely - CORRECT! <LOL> Mine hovers at 1/4 throttle or less with a Webra 50 on a tune pipe. I haven't weighed mine, but would think that is around 4-1/2 lbs with the brass spinner nut on the front for balance. I changed the servos in the tail yesterday to HiTec digital 5625s to take some of the weight out of the tail, since I was still tail heavy with the brass spinner nut
The only problem with running such a big motor on any Fun-Fly is the wing loading. You may want to fly it with a 46 as well and then decide. I always tend to go back to the lighter motor because the AC performance is so much better (propvided that I can hover it at 1/2 throttle or less ). I screwed up on mine and put heavy servos in the tail and changed the tail wheel assy. with a light motor and a full length tuned pipe, but I will get the CG where I want it yet. I love the AC and will get another soon as a back-up.

yep, after seeing Sloans Profile fly on a Saito 100 [8D], I think the 91 will be just fine.
