I'm relatively new to foamies, I'm up to 7 torque rolls in my living room with a shock flyer after 2 months, I've been flying nitro profiles for years but just recently got into the foamie stuff, best thing to ever happen to me.

How can we do a pole of the best foamies?

I know what equipment to use, just not sure which plane it the hot set up, I've about got a E-sledge together which the Bro's love, but my shocky rulz, lets git-r-done.

The esledge is great but jeff's yak is a bit better IMO. and built with cf rods a heck of a lot more durable than a shocky

ChuckFlyer and a Razor 350. There is no substitute

Of course there is no more ChuckFlyers, so it's one of those "you just had to be there" moments [8D]

RCXPLANES Edge 540T is awsome. AUW 15-16oz, Mine has Himax 2015-4100, 6.6-1 GBX, 12x6 prop, 4 HS 55's, CC 25, TP 1320 3S pack. This airplane is just great, very stable, and yet VERY maneuverable.

I would like to think that my kits at www.3dfoamy.com are at the top of the list for quality. They are all laser cut, include everything but electronics and are CHEEP!

Right now everything is 20% off, so that makes any 40" 3D Foamy kit only $23 and some change. Orders over $100 get free shipping... Depron upgrade is free... Molded carbon gears are available.

They flat out haul on cheep GWS350/3s1p setups... 20 minutes flight time... Brushless is even better.

I would say go check out all the other kits out there, then look at mine. Quality is top shelf.

I even have a 100% moneyback guarentee. If you get the kit and don't like anything about it, send it back for a full refund! ALSO if you fly the thing and you don't like it, SEND IT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND! Try that with some one else....

go check out www.3dfoamy.com and tell me what you think.

Hey everyone,

I know this is an older post but I just wanted to thank FNG for his vote of confidence for the RC-Xplanes Edge 540 T.

It has taken a while but there are now six FREE downloadable plans for great flying, pure 3D Foamies on http://www.rcxplanes.com

1. The original RC-Xplanes 3D Flipper
2. A 75% sized Indoor 3D Flipper
3. The Edge 540 T that FNG (Mark) raved about
4. An Extra 330 S that Rocks
5. A very adrinaline pumped CAP 232
6. A very popular YAK 54

Give any one of these plans a try for free. Let me know your favorite. There is a lot of other information on this site like a construction how to series and plans for a lot more stuff on there so send me your pics, vids and pick for your favorite and why. I don't care if it is someone elses design or one of mine.

My Favorite? I don't want to influence any of you just yet. But you never forget your first. All 6 of these are designed on sucessfull aero platforms and principals for 3D performance. I am confident one of them will become one of your favorites soon.

Happy Holidays all,

I'd say www.3DFoamy.com . He has a cool new wing design that he is making for his line of kits.

I am new (2weeks) into the foamys. I went with Abell Hobbies Adrenaline 3D set-up as they recommend with the AXI 2212/26 on 3s. So far 33 flights & I can't get enough of this plane. One thing that the Adrenaline has that I think the other kits may be missing are 4 carbon fiber rectangular rods that run the length of the fuse to stiffen the back end up when you are flying patterns. Also, the motor mount system is the best I have seen for the AXI motor. Very nice kit to build with real hinges and carbon fiber control rods.

Hey Levi,

Your "G-Forced" idea is pretty cool. Looks very easy to build.

This is how the Built Up Foam wing came out. It is super ridged, durable and lightweight.

Cheers,

scratched it for th G-Force wing....

Theres a thread in here somewhere about it....

My planes have a smaller wing than the other guys out there. I prefered the slightly higher wing loadings so that I can actually get them to snap and to some of the real 3D manouvers with out trying to fly through them.... Just a persomal preferance. It helps out in higher winds too...

Insane Foamies Snap INCREDIBLY good... Thats the flat bar carbon stiff wing. Watch the third video on the website (about half way through). They do all 3-d maneuvers well.

Yup, your designs fly great.... I was talking about stuff that has 36" wings and 450 in of area. That stubby look has funfly performance.

I'd take your plane to the gym to fly, they cruise around a bit slower with the larger wings. Good stuff.

Levi's planes fly great, but I'm getting tired of having to wait a month for delivery. Starting to look elsewhere...

Yup, thats the downside... They are more popular than I could have ever expected. I just got a second laser cutter so that I can accomidate the demand. Plus we just had our little girl born... so that sure threw a wrench in the gears! But gotta love it all

I remember those days.... Wouldn't change it for the world. I have an 8 year old and a 2 year old. Both girls!!!!! I do believe the worst is yet to come. That's ok though, I have a shotgun and I'm not afraid to go back to prison.

Hello all,
The FREE download plans in RC-Xplanes ZIP files have all been updated with a Rev1 in their title to include both A0 (841x1189mm) and Arch E (34"x44") PDF size formats. These can be printed on your plotter or at Kinkos and other locations.

Don't foreget to leave me feedback or drop me an email

Enjoy

Bud @ http://www.rcxplanes.com
