His landing gear did a good impression of the squat. Ask him bout' that one...... Scott and Gary, it was great flying with you this weekend! Both of you need to try and make it to the EAC fly-in Blaine and I are working on in Memphis.

EAC in Memphis would be cool. Im planning on going to the EAC in Mobile in November. Im not going to make the one in Atlanta in two weeks though.........unless something drastically changes.

Sorry dude cant be just like a Pro-Bro...
Well when I say that I mean that the group you hang out with are almost as cool and friendly as the Bro's. I met some really nice people this weekend and had a great time. The pool party Saturday night was pretty cool........and Seeloff continued his quest of loosening up. But overall it was pretty cool and I had a good time.

Im going to resize some pics and I'll get 'em posted.

Oh the one big difference at these events is that they dont do a mass hover.........they do a TR gaggle. But they maxed out Saturday with about 7 planes i think.

Okay....I think we have a Biplane hoverfest, Blains 50%er, Jacks grandpaw having too much fun, me spotting for the famous Seeloff and Jerry Smith working on his world championship plane.

Okay here we have a really nice plane, Seeloff speaking to me in some type of foriegn sign language, Seeloff's Sukhoi, Some really cool smoke coming from a 42% Ultimate, and a smoking loop around a TR'ing plane.

There were a lot of cameras out there.....and Im sure there are some around of me flying. But I certainly cant take them of myself. Im wondering if any of these pictures do get posted anywhere else like maybe on Blaine's webpage.

I think one of the best pilots at the event is Mr. Seeloff himself. Thats right a Profile Brother. I would have in no way been ashamed to sport my true colors dude. But if you look at my sunburned face right now you'd see that the sun was kicking pretty hard.....and my Pro-Bro shirt is black. Theres no way I could have tolerated the absorbtion of heat.......not without starting early on the cold beverages

No sponsors yet but I am looking for a company that can make me a sticker that says "Got Gas" and I'm going to put it right on the top of my cowl.......nough said?

Yeah, if you got that, you might not need the epoxy sponsor!

Well Im sorry to inform all of the guys that want a good crash story but I'm only able to report my bent gear. But if you must know the whole story here it is.

A few years ago I bought this plane that came a Brison 6.4 Hybrid motor....or so the previous owner stated. So here recently I have been experimenting with the "Hybrid" portion of this motor. After I tweaked the carb setting and internal working structure of the motor I was certain that I had perfected the first motor to run off of oxygen once the gasolene has been depleted. But unfortunately my attempts to perfect this new line of internal combustion airplane engine have been unsuccessful up until this point. But not be outdone by a silly little motor I continue to push forward with the research and development of this hybrid technology.

Well most recently....this past weekend....I was once again confident enough in my findings to run a true beta test of the Hybrid model 6.4-13. And as all things were going quite well into the experiment....like 4.5 minutes off of nothing but straight oxygen.... the motor decided to quit and I was forced to set it down deadstick. But due to the lack of altitude I wasent able to get adequate airspeed to properly perform the maneuver. Hence the ever so slight distortion of my aluminum under carriage. So after removing the gear and finding an appropriate trailer hitch under which to wedge the gear for straightening I was back in the air continueing with the research.

And rest assured guys......I will perfect this technology...I promise even if it leads to the death of my airplane!

Okay....so I forgot to put gas in my plane .....once again....and when it ran out I landed in a field and bent my gear.

I still think my first story sounds much better

I like the first one better too. You did a good job of setting it down. I thought for sure it was gonna knock the engine box off... I have to second that about Seeloff though. You should have seen the look on Wes Batson's face when Seeloff did his LOW harrier roll to an inverted harrier and nearly touched the tail like that.
