Default what airfoil for 3d plane?

in building a small 3d funfly plane with profil fuselage to do harriers and all those other 3d manuvers. i have no idea what airfoil i should use, the plane will have about 1 meter wingspan and the fueselage will be about the same length, with a 4.5ccm mvvs engine. if any one could post a .gif file or somethin that would be great.

hakim

ps. sorry for the english, i havent paid much attention in school...

Try this link to the vortec airfoil. It is supposed to be the good 3D airfoil right now.

Saw a post for the vortec a while ago. Put up a post of my own asking for info on planes that are actually using it. Got no replies. Vaporfoil maybe?

I have used a thicker Eppler 169 (17%) with nice results

NACA 0018 or 0016 with the max thickness point at 20% chord.
Basically, every symetrical airfoil fairly thick will do the job.

For something that small a flat plate's probably the best and easiest. I you insist on an airfoil, go super fat (18% at least) with a large leading edge radius, max thickness 20% or less and low AR like the Fun 15 (Mini 3D)
