Default Cedar Hobbies 3D Witch(again)

It looks like my thread got deleted because of bickering or advertising[:@]. At any rate, I received my "Witch" today. It looks pretty good, most of the hardware is actually usable right down to the Dave Brown liteflite knock-off wheels, and it seems to be built and covered nice but there are some issues. The advertised "aluminum gear" is wire and seems to be bent for trainer mains not a profile. Since I have a couple of sets of profile gear, that doesn't bother me too much. The aileron servo mounting is very sketchy-near as I can tell, you have to cut your own holes in the hatches on the bottom of the wing, although the "Chinglish" directions don't tell you that. The l.e. of the left aileron is not straight so there is a pretty good gap at the outboard edge. The red trim on the right aileron doesn't match up with the wing. Other than that, it seems pretty good for under a hundred bucks. The witch decals are headed for the trash can fo sho!!![:'(]Here are some pics, and if anyone has any more specific question I'd be happy to answer them

Falcon,

I think it's a weight issue. If your 60 or 75 weighs around 16 oz. give or take a few you'll probably be ok. If your inthe 22 to 26 oz. range it's gonna be way nose heavy, then you'll add tail weight, then your wing loading will go up and performance will go down. A plane like this really needs nothing more than a good 46 2 stroke or 70 4 stroke. I'm puttin a saito 72 on mine.

Here is the finished plane. It took me about 8 hours to finish. Would have been less if I didn't have to re-engineer the aileron servo mounts, landing gear, tank mount, hinge slot alignment, yada, yada, yada.[>:] The definitely no attention to detail paid to the construction of this "ARF" It seams as though the 11 year olds in the sweat shop are rebelling against their opressive masters or something. I would be ticked if I had paid more than 74 bucks for this thing. Any way the finished product seems to have turned out pretty decent. With a saito 72, HS-425's all around and a full size reciever and a 6v 720 pack it came in at less than 4.5 lbs. I hope it flies o.k. A flight report will be along inthe next few days I hope.
