Anyone here building the OMP giant yak? Any flight reports or comparisons to the 65" Yak?

That airplane is at the top of my list right now, but I can't find a kit anywhere.
Does anyone have one NIB for sale?

It should be just a couple more weeks. I believe the weekend after Toledo.

Building one right now. Am just about done. Looks like its going to weigh 11 3/4 pounds with moki 210 and CF gear. Its got a lot of wing area. I can't wait to fly it. Will post another picture with covering in a few days.

It should be just a couple more weeks. I believe the weekend after Toledo.

In other words, "We only have a limited supply and we want to sell them at the Toledo Show. You know, advertising and all. It's only business. You understand right? We do not want to sell them to just any poor slob right now. After the show, what we do not sell there, we will be more than happy to sell them to the rest of you poor slobs, that could not be there."

Is that the reason for the weekend "after" the Toledo show?

Ummm no, we don't have ANY until after the Toledo show.

We sell it online or sell it at the show ... what's the difference?

RCS, actually we are completely out of stock of the 79" Yak kits but please come by and visit us at Toledo anyway. I've got new foam cores on order now but laser parts won't be ready until probably a couple weeks after toledo so realistically the kits won't be ready til the end of April.

OK, I stand corrected! My bad and I am sorry.

When I made that post, I was, for some reason, thinking that they would have them at the Toledo Show. Dion, you are right about it makes no difference if you sell them on line or at the show, that was the part that had me confused. For some dumb reason I assumed the Yaks would be at the show.

Well folks, this is a prime example of what happens to you when you assume. I made an ASS of myself.

Again, I am sorry guys.

Just a thought here Constrictor but as an OMP dealer I would think you would know this kind of thing.

Constrictor is an OMP dealer? That's new news to me.

I know we've talked about it in the past and may consider it in the future, but we won't hide our dealers from the public. That really doesn't make much sense, unless I'm missing something???

Constrictor, was anybody talking to you? You, jumped on my back in a PM, at the other site, for the comment I made above. I admitted my comment was wrong. But even so, no one was talking to you then either. So, if someone makes a comment to someone else, directly, you might consider staying out of it. [:@]

Ohhh.... wait, nobody was talking to me either. Never mind.[&:]
