Got any pics of the internal fuse, before you sheeted it?
Did you use a carbon tube?
How did you establish the rib shape and length?
What are the overall dimensions?
What you have so far looks good. I would love to see first flight video, and would probably hold off naming it until after the bugs are worked out!!!

RE: New profile
the fuse is foam that is honeycomed. I did not use CF tube in the fuse but it is very strong.
The ribs are designed in profili pro and exported as cut dxf.
Fuse is 52"
wingspan 47" Root rib 350mm tip 250 mm

RE: New profile
I got around to covering today.
I have to do the flying surfaces next. Tail servos are going into the fuse to keep them clean and out of way.
I have an old saito 56 that needs a home, should be a good place to go

Sorry inedesca.............but that site you linked isn't at all easier, cheaper....and certainly not better!!! You're talking about gluing Depron together..............and this is a serious Nitro bird!!!

Sorry but I should have pointed out that these are only for electrics.
We consider it easier, since you just have to stick these self adhesive patterns into you depron, cut and glue with epoxy, it may take you two hours at the most finishing them before hardware. You dont have to draw nor paint. Not to mention that this film of vinyl adds strength to the depron.
On the other side we consider them cheap because the most expensive is about $18.00 usd + mail ($2.50) compared with a simple paper plan which goes up to $20.00 which yo have to transfer, cut and paint.
Besides they are scale fighters, edf, pss and propeller.
Anyway, I appreciate your opinion, because is a feedback. Again sorry for not making clear that these are only for electrics.

Got to cut some servo trays for the wings and some CF horns, they are laminated ply with carbon on both sides.
Also set up the tail servos. Servos are mounted on a plate and screw on onto the fuse.

RE: New profile
Did you get the CNC machine to play with projects like this??? How much do they cost?
Thanks,
I built the CNC for RC use. We also use it for other stuff around the house but mostly for the hobbie.
The weight is 3.5lb with everything on it. I hope the saito will be strong to fly it.
I am almost done have to program the radio and put the last trims on it. I will fly it this week.

Very nice flight!!!
It looks like you could use a little "Expo" on the rudder, and Ailerons. that will slow down that twitchy side to side dance you have in the hover.
Home Depot sells a 1 inch by1/4 aluminum bar, in a 4 foot length that works perfect for Profile gear.
Keep the vids coming!!!
