I had one of these....just sold it. Had it about a year and a half with many many flights on it. After I dorked my trainer I bought it and never looked back. Much more forgiving than a trainer. (much more fun too!!!) I would HIGHLY recommend this plane INSTEAD of a trainer. Slows down awesome, real fun to play with in them 20 mph winds....kinda twitchy with that big wing though!! Had a LA40 on it......a friend had a TT 36 on his and his ran a bit better. Very fun plane though....cheap too!

I have one of these and it is a blast! I take it to S.M.A.L.L in Little Rock, AR every year. Two years ago, I had the only one up there. This year we had four flying in formation at the same time! I have an OS .25FX on mine, and I feel that this is plenty of engine. I like to hover it into the wind, gas it into a loop, then settle back into a hover. If you have a chance to get one, then I'd highly reccomend it.
There was a man at S.M.A.L.L this year that had one built into a twin F-82 Mustang. Really cool!

I don't have any pics of the F-82, but you're right, it was a sight to see! The man that owns it is from Dallas, and he did a fantastic job on it. It looks really cool, both on the ground and in the air. I wish that I did have some pictures of it.
