Default Top cap balance

Hi, This is my first profile. Should I balance it right side up or upside down?

Default I balanced mine upside down

I set my cg at 4 1/2 " worked real well there. tried it at 5 and was a little wild when I ran low on fuel.

The best way to balance the TC is to screw an eyehook into the top of the fuse at the center of the balance range. Put some string in there and hold the plane up. See what the balance is like at that point. You are also checking the lateral balance at the same time. Important IMO for this plane.

I ditto Wayne. Thats how I set mine up and it worked great. After you have it flying you can move back from there. Tom
