I too have fallen victim to the profile pressure with an Aeroworks Extra 300L profile ARF. I've also fallen victim to the 'how low can you go' syndrom [sm=stupid.gif]. Doesn't that automatically put me in line for a pro bro shirt or membership or something? ;) Here I even have proof...

Thank you. I've also got a mini profile for a .15 I've been building for about two years now. It's nearly built and covered to the point of calling it an ARF now I guess. One of these days I'll get that done. :) Here's a pre covering shot...

The first time I saw a Profile, I thought they were the stupidest looking plane at the field. It's a matter of function over form, every time you fly one, you'll marvel at how great they handle. Slower than a trainer to radical aerobatics that would shred most planes. I still built "purty" planes (as subjective as THAT might be:D ), but I can't imagine a fleet without a profile or 3.

The wings are still in play with minor damage, and I'm sure with a little time it would fly again. Time I don't seem to have right now however so it will probably remain the shell that it is for while... an ever present reminder of the fun I experienced that day! :D

Well said almost identical to what I felt. The only difference being that until I tried 3D I never saw a profile being flown to it's full ability, they just fly lazy patterns, such a waste.
