RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Hilarious!

RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
That Gator..back on the crack I see... Is that the answer to mid airs? Fly the Auger and everyone will run away...HAR HAR...

RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
THIS is gonna be my "banger plane"...you know when I finally get to fly with them IIU boys:D
|
RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
I knew something was up...
|
RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
That is the ugliest plane ever! No problem with mid airs it will scare all the other planes away! ;)
|
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
that is worse than the key key mask.
:D flip |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
It's an ugly plane, but the covering scheme is quite tasteful!! :D
|
RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Gator... that is too cool.... Kinda creepy almost....
|
RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
I thought about putt'n "BUG EYED EARL" on the rudder, but the thought of drwing him 2 more times creep'd me out......I'll call this plane"BLUE MEAT"

Heres my second Williams Extra.
The first one is being used as a 3D trainer for a buddy of mine. I like this plane more and more everytime I fly it. I cant find anything I dont like about it. |
RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
hey wayne,
is this one built with CF tube instead of I-beam?...and what about glue....hot glue?....G |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Gator,
CF Tubes glued in with Pro-Bond Poly-U 30 min Epoxy for the wings and tail. |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Gator, I just went to tubes and hot glue. It adds weight but is more mid air resistant shall we say.

RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
I like that term, "Mid-Air Resistant". The Extra looks neat.

RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.

Here's my version, in progress. Color is from packing tape.
Did the indoor maiden tonight and it was awesome. I was doing things right off the bat I didn't even know I could do. This one's a must have. Karl |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
good job Kat. Is that Zagitape? Lookin forward to seeing it fly.
|
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Karl, glad to hear you like the E330. The yak 54 is now ready also, flew it at the last Derby city indoor and all I can say is the E Sledge and E330 have an equal partner. Jeff Williams

RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Dave- Yes, I got 8 rolls from Fast-Pack for xmas. Would have been simpler if I didn't start doing the outlines with a black sharpie, but I like the way it came out. The bottom of the wings have a black checkerboard made from the same tape. Not all that much work once you get the cutting layout set up.
Jeff- Looking forward to seeing the new versions of the Sledge and YAK. If they're anything like the Extra they'll be sure winners. All that stuff I could easily do in G2 and not-so-easily in real life kind of blurs together with the E330. I really had fun last night flying in the hangar, although I could have used a bit more room (I'm still a beginner). Flying with full-scale planes and expensive cars around makes me a bit more cautious. Karl ProBro #57 I3D #61 |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Well Karl, not as tastefully done as Gators E Sledge :D but not bad! (I'm joking guys! Karl always does awesome work)
|
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Karl, I think the extra work you did with the sharpie really sets it off.
Chuck, Where did that "tasteful" pic of bug eyed Earl come from? |
RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Looks great Karl. You guys are killing me with all the cool E-stuff. I gotta get on this band wagon, that's just all there is to it.

RE: RE: Jeff Williams does it again.
Vref, you must. Do not deny yourself any longer.
