Got my Chuck Flyer all done yesterday and had a chance to fly it... Man... what a cool bird!! Really stable and flew great.... Chuck Auger is the designer and cut one out for me...

Razor 300 in GWS "D" gear box
3 cell LiPo 1200 mAh
2 HS 55 servo's
AUW: 12 oz

What kind of hinges are you using? Looks like CA hinges. Do these work better that clear packing tape?

take old 3.5 floppy disk, bust them open and take the disk material out, cut it into hinges...I use these too, wish I had some 5" floppies

What are you using for glue on the floppy hinges?
Till I enlarged the pic of Gators plane, I couldn't tell where the plane stopped and the backdrop began. Most of stuff on the backdrop is better than my best work.[:o]

Foam safe CA ! You install them the same way as you would do with CA hinges. Cut a slot with an exacto and then a couple of drops of Foam safe (odorless) CA. These hinges are super strong.

Thanks for the tip. I just finished hinging my Shocked Yak and I like them better already. I double beveled the elevator, but only single beveled the ailerons and rudder. Sound ok? Looks like enough throw.

I wish Chuck would fly me some of them plans :::::sigh:::::: heh I d/l the Foamy factory 330 man thats a nice little flyer as well I bought me a Paache VL airbrush set for 60$ bucks in Perry also got a nice little Badger compressor for 20$ does a heck of a job very nice air brush as well now I got to learn how to paint with it. I practiced on this new plane last night I like parts of the flag needed a little better planning and some practice but I like it for a first try....

Stan, there ain't no plans..just templates I change a little something here or there. StaggerBee in MS has one, if you know him you could trace it and make some templates..

Nuther..I just noticed the Skull's jaw will "chomp" when the aileron is moved.

Are there plans out there for chuck flyers, or do you have to talk to chuck? I'll probably never be able to afford these lectrics, but it's nice to dream!
