spinsation
I have a Morris Hobbies Spinsation.
I flew the plane several times with no problems. Today the plane would not get off the runway. The plane would not lift off. I think the problem has something to do with how high the tail wheel sticks the rudder in the air. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dean |
RE: spinsation
As long as you have enough speed, you should be able to lift it off the ground no matter what the angle.

RE: spinsation
I always had the ailevons flex'd up slightly. when it starts T/O roll, just let its speed lift it off. sounds, like you might have been holding alot of up into it as it did its T/O roll and thus forceing the plane down on the ground, just a thought, I 've had 3 of these planes....G

TERMAGATOR,
Are saying that the ailevons should be flex'd up slightly at neutral? I have been yanking back on the stick trying to get it airborne. I will not do that the next time. Thanks for the help, Dean |

yeah, heres a pic, maybe you can see the ailvons are flex'd upward a bit, and try going a little easier on the UP on T/O roll...good Luck

RE: spinsation
I was having the same problem after the landing gear settled on hard landings and changed the angle of attack, seems like it needs those long gear legs to take off, especially on grass?
Bend them down to origional angle and see what happens....Fun little plane. |
RE: spinsation
That thing's cute....how does it 3D? By looking at it I wouldn't know.

RE: spinsation
