Getting the Modeltech Magic to hover

For some reason, I can't get my Magic to hover. I've almost lost it a couple times while trying. I usually start real slow, pull back and snap, and apply throttle. However, the Magic continually yaws to the left and and right rudder won't correct it. I know it's probably engine torque, and I've been thinking of adding right thrust, which of course wouldn't be a bad idea.
I've also been thinking of moving the CG back a little, but I'm not sure since it flat spins alright and it practically chases its tail when looping.
Any ideas?

Fly a BUNCH of vertical uplines, and concentrate on going PERFECTLY straight up.

Dont modify your plane untill you have some experiance with it.

RE: Getting the Modeltech Magic to hover

I had a little trouble with the Magic at first, less rudder authority than most profiles.

Solution was to get 45-50 degrees throw on the rudder. I had to mount a mini servo in the top of the fuse, just in front of the rudder. The stock pull/pull wasn't letting me get enough throw. I just cut the hole, dropped the mini servo in, and ran a single pushrod.

Also, blip the throttle when you apply the rudder to increase its effectiveness.

Once you get is sorted out, the Magic is a GREAT hovering plane.

I have 45 degrees of rudder throw. I've pulsed the throttle before, but it seems to just keep going up.
I'm using an O.S. .46 AX, I'll try it again this Sunday, and let you know what happens.
And BTW, I added right thrust. :)
