Edge Question
 

Hey profilers,

I am thinking about a saito 72 that a friend offered me to put on an OMP 47" Edge profile.

Would this be a good combo?

I've had an OS 50SX on the accel katana, and the power was good, not great, but that 2 stroke on that macs muffler made my ears ring when i was hovering in real close. So im thinking about going 4 stroke for the tork, different sound, and cuz i can get it cheap.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I disagree that is about the worst combination possible and the only right thing to do is to get yourself as far away as possible from that engine by sending it to Alaska. As a good person I would be willing to dispose of that engine for you. Send it here and rid yourself of that terrible burden :D :D

Yay! just what i wanted to hear!

A friend of mine has one that he is trying to sell along with a plane, and i'm gonna buy the engine off of him.

100 bucks dont sound too bad,

Any suggestion for fuel? I have some 15% morgan Cool Power, the green stuff, that i use in my 2 strokes. Should i have another fuel?

Full senthetic hey? Sounds about right. Same as what I use on all my 3D ships. Although we have added a little extra here in ZA just for some bells and whistles. The coolpower works well to keep my motors cool when their running rich enough for a full tank 3D session. My mate runs the same fuel through hes Saito .72 on hes Ultra-RC Yak-54 and the motor seems happy so I can't see why there is a need to re invent the wheel.

It will do fine on the 15% you have, but Saitos love Cool Power 30% helicopter fuel.
