I have been reading a lot of the post on this website for a while and would like to say that I have found a lot of useful information about almost everthing!!! Now for the question. I am going to get a Magic and was wondering if the Leo 37 engine would be enough to hover it. The engine is claimed to have more power than the OS 32sx and i think that i have read where the 32 will hover it but not sure.

Thanks for any replys
Chris

The Leo 37 is a powerful motor, and I know of someone who has this exact combination. See www.bumpygreen.co.uk and click on Reviews as the review Magic has this motor fitted........HM :)

I have read that Review but am very disappointed that it doesn't give how it flew with that combonation. hopefully sometime in the future they will put it.

i have a magic with the os 32 sf motor and i'll tell you it will hover and pull out with an attitude. the fuel was power master 15% plug kb 1L, the prop master air screw/rocket 9x6, and a mac 3.5 quiet pipe.

i also changed the gear to nylon with lots-o-lightning holes. RR

I have a magic with a .46 FX with a Mac exhaust, turning a 11.5X4 APC and it will rocket out of a hover and fly's light. It has been a great flying airplane. It weighs 4.1 lbs with standard servo's and a 720 Nickle metal hydride battery. Its a 3D monster.

I put a Thunder Tiger Pro 36 in mine and the plane comes in at under 3.6 lbs! The little TT will pull the plane into the clouds and pull out of a hover with no problems. TT also makes a .39 heli which I would think they make the airplane counterpart. The thing about the TT engines is the weight, they are light.

Makes a BIG difference with close in slow aerobatics.
