E3D Ready to Go!

I was at my local flying field and got talking to a flyer there and said I wanted to get an E3D and a menace or morris. He said he had an E3D kit with motor system and would sell it to me. First action: "I'll take it!" :)
Great kit, went together really fast. I framed it out in 3 days, took a day to cover it and 2 more to get it ready to fly! Its all ready to go and hopefully can fly it this weekend. What can I expect on my first flights. Any pointers. It has the stock recommended motor setup in it. How should I set it up in my computer radio?

E3D Ready to Go!

Have fun with the E3D, its a great plane and lots of fun to fly. What battery pack are you using? If you have 10cells it will takeoff in less then 10feet. If you have your throws down it will be sort of gentle, but it will go where you point it. If you have your throws up high it'll fly like a funfly plane. I use a Futaba 6XA computer radio with mine. I have flaperons mixed in. And I have about 45 degress throw on each thing, maybe a little more on the rudder! I just picked up a Flyware brushless motor from the ezone. its a 350-25 brushless motor. So that motor should be really great and have lots of power for the E3D! It can use 10 to 12 cells and a big prop. Can't wait till it comes! PT46, did you see the Kwik-E yet? Thats another fun plane. I just put a Mega Brushless in mine and its a real blast to fly. Great speed and climbing. And no power high speed passes!
Have fun!
Ryan
