gas engine

I am building the Aeroworks Extra 300 Profile and am thinking about putting a gas engine on it.

Does anybody have and engine recommendations and engine mounting tips?

What are the cons to gas power.

I have noticed most gas engines are set up to mount to a fire wall and I have no clue how to get around this.

Thanks,
Dean

RCS 1.40!!

Use the RCS 1.40!!
www.rcshowcase.com

Swings a 17x6 prop.

Fits the same mount as stock profile.

I have the Aeroworks Profile started...

Only mod to the engine mount was to cut back a little more for the rear carb. But that just works out as a benefit cause now you have SHORTER control rod for the throttle.

The RCS is a super little engine....and uses a small 8 oz tank for 20-30 min flights!!

Cheap fun...and strong enough to verticle the 10 lb profile.....keep the construction light and have fun!!!

High Flights.

Crazyherb, how does it fly compared to the smaller profiles?
