Actually.. the 40 size Mojo will be an ARF very soon....

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
The .91FS is rather large for a 40 size profile but perfect for the Katana 70v2. The Kat 70 is also an ARF and available today.

word love me an ARF 2!

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
I'd have to agree with Mike... The 91 FS isn't a good fit for the Mojo 40 ARF.... I just thought since you were asking about Mojo ARFs, I'd let the cat outta the bag... :D
On a Mojo .40, you're better off with a .50 class 2 stroke or .70 - .82 class 4 stroke... The Katana .70 is an awesome plane and the 91 would be right at home on it.... |

ORIGINAL: PaulSwany Actually.. the 40 size Mojo will be an ARF very soon.... In January I told myself only one new plane this year. So far I've bought an Edge profile, a low wing stick, a Venus .40, and I'm working on a Fusion kit. Now I see this ARF. I'm going to have a lot of 'splaning to do. |

Targeting mid September for availability. Price to be announced shortly.

Katana V2 46 or Extra 260 46 P by tm pro they are wicked :) But for you 91 Id Go the Big KAT 70 V2 couldnt go wrong!!:D

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
there are 3 katana V2 70's on our field - including mine.
I fly mine with a saito 100 which is WAY overpowered, the other 2 are flying with OS 91FS pumpers which are just a "perfect" fit. FYI, the OMP katana v2 70's are *VERY* fragile, lowest quality materials all around - cheaply made planes BUT!... FANTASTIC fliers. |
RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
These planes are made for flying....what do you think they're made for....crashing?
|
RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
I have flown the Kat V2 with a Saito .82 and although it was not "insane mind blowing" power for the 6lb aircraft it was some serious fun with a decent pull out of hover. I bet the .91 would be just right.
Important thing is you can beat the air into submision with that sucker and it is strong enough to handle that, crashing is another story. |
RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
Paul...Mike....there ya go. A new breed of profiles to consider marketing.
Fuselages made of 3/4" OSB, 1/4" ply ribs, sheet aluminum covering, and plenty of steel in nose. Sure they'd weigh 25lbs, and fly like an anvil...but it'd keep the crash crowd happy. |

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
Ok, so I'll start on that design for those who have a little trouble with tera firma. We'll need some new DA 85s to fly these slabs though.

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
I think that could work if it's big enough for me to ride in it!! There's a guy designing a full scale Mojo that is using a jetski motor to power it with.... Pretty crazy...

RE: Profile 3d ARF which one
Full scale Mojo?
He must be one thin dude!! <GGGG> |
