I am up to installing the elevator and horizontal, BUT, the pic shows a different model where the elevator goes up to it from behind, what about this one, there is no cuts in the fuse for it and it doesnt say exactly how to do it.
Thanks!! SO far I have about 4-5 hours into it and its getting very close!!

I realy cant wait to see If there is a difference with these airplanes. I'll bet they all fly the same and thesame stunts. I'll let everyone know

John, there should be a slot in the fuse, maybe its under the covering? The elevator and horizontal stab both go in the same slot. Slide the elevator in first then the stab. Below is a diagram of slot shape.
Btw: I am going by memory on this, its been a year since I had a Topcap. Wgeffron, can you confirm this?

hope this helps.

I also have an Aeron on the way....cant wait!

well, I couldnt wait on the replies so I went and did like the instructions said, WHICH WAS WRONG. after the horizontal is glued in there is no way that ele. fits in there :( SO, I had to cut a chunk out of the back of the fuse and slide the ele. in then glue it back in place. Oh well, will know better on next one!! Why the heck do they send sudo instructions with this thing? stupid people.

But, I do have the whole thing glued together, need to finnish it off tomorrow and bolt that pretty new saito .72 on it!!!!! anyone put a .91 on one?? Its only $15 more.

Too heavy IMO.

You'll see. Your gonna love the way the .72 flies it. You dont need anything more.

I am shooting for first flight tomorrow if I get up and going early enough. Anyone have any problems with glueing on the wing and what not? how did you all do it, thin CA? Then thick?

set the wing with thin ca the put in some thick ca in the larger gaps. I did the same thing you did on the stab. hope your first flight goes well. the engine on mine died in a hover and slid streight into the ground. only broke the fuselage in half right behind the wing. fixed it already. cant wait for my new test flight.
