whats the effect of elevator-flaps mix in flight??
 

im flying a dazzler (dual servo) and am using an airtronics RD6000, and i was wondering whats the effect of the above mix?
i programmed it so when i pull the elevator both, ailrones go down and vice versa.
what would be the effect??

Tight loops, creeping crawler flying which is great for limbo contests... I could almost walk faster than it would fly with a 2-6 mix.

Oh, it's great for taxi races too if you reverse the flaps and make them go up. Then with both the ailerons and elevators going up it holds the plane to the ground. :)

I have a Dazzler, and the flaps need to go opposite of what it would seem. You need to make the flaps go up when the elevator goes up, and vice versa. It seems backwards, but if you play with just the flaps, you will find that putting the flaps down makes the nose go down. In fact, I use flaps on mine, and I have up elevator mixed with down flaps to "trim" the aircraft to level flight when I mix the flaps. On the other side, I have down elevator mixed with up flaps to hold the nose level for airbrakes. Then on my mixer, I have up flaps mixed with up elevator (and vice versa) to make really tight loops.

I have a magic 3d with the mixing it is just crazy with them on I like it. It is a little easyer to hover, but it messes me up a little on the harrier. It makes it flatspin great I love it.

sorry i dont mean to sound stupiud but i am new to this hobby. what you are saying is that when up elevator is put in the alierons go down. would this make loops tighter on my cougar?

you have to experiment with the ailerons on your cougar to see which way the make the nose go when you put them up and down. on the dazzler, both ailerons down makes the nose go down, so the ailerons are mixed to go up with up elevator to make the loops tighter.
