Theres an easier way, you know those letter openers shaped like a credit card, bingo! You just sand the pointy part til it fits in the flutes.

I use a sewing seam ripper. $3-$5 at a fabric store. I like to buy the cheap ones at clearance stores for $1. Not my idea, I think I picked it up from the SPAD website long ago. I grind the long edge down so it won't cut through the bottom side of the sheet when I'm not paying too much attention to the process. You get a feel for the right angle to hold the tool and make the cut. It is very quick and easy. What I like about the seam ripper over doubled bladed tools is that it is easy to hold because they come with handles and the ablity to use just one tool in different sizes of coroplast (not all coroplast has the same flute spacing) and for just single cuts in the flutes to shape (curve) a piece for a say a fuse.
