RE: OMP Edge Question

Xoar 13x4 or MAS 13x5 for YS63 on any 40 size profile is a good combo.

Absolutely! The YS 63 is a very common engine for the 40 size slabs. We even sell the YS 63 in a combo deal with the Edge. The 63 on 20-30 percent nitro could swing a 13-6 I'm sure.

RE: OMP Edge Question

I have the edge with the ys63 I have had the plane for 4 years awesome plane apc 13x4w great spins but rocks a little on hover. Fantastic knife edge. I have the old foam cored plane which is a little heavier but it is great in 20 mph winds. if you are building the kit you might want to reinforce the elevator counterbalance with a triangular piece of balsa in the corner. I have broken them off a few times with a couple of tumbles or low passes past cornstalks that reached out and grabbed them. this is one of the toughest planes I have ever flown and also the most fun.
