Default For those fearing true FULL auto start

We have acknowledged that some jet flyers feel uneasy with on-board gas canister. The caution being that escaping gas can be fire hazard especially during uneventfull crashes. Major cause for escaping gas is ruptured gas canister or loose/disconnected gas line. These chances can be minimized with better designed canister. This is our new gas canister for auto-start. Small rugged 2-piece design made from milled aluminum for strength. Gas line is securely held in place by screwed-down tightening cap ensuring minimum chance for leakage. Small but it will supply enough gas for 2-3 auto-starts. New J600Rs are now supplied with this new gas canister.

What about modifying the TEMS software so that it dumps the propane into the engine once it is running, like some other brands do?

This is a safety issue that has been on the development list for sometimes. If there is no restriction, we will definitely add the feature in the new TEMS program. Thank you.

If you do go ahead with that change to the program, is my TEMS capable of being upgraded to the new version of the software or will it require buying a complete new TEMS?

Hi Harry,

TEMS consists of 2 circuit boards, top and bottom. Preliminary upgrade is to change the top board only with long term solution to change both circuit boards or integrating them. As for TEMS users at the moment, you will not see any differences on the program side even with the new board replaced. The new top board for "new TEMS" is to allow more programming codes that will be added in the "future". We are still working on those features and your input here is well noted and will be strongly considered.

Regards,
Kraivuth S.
