PST J 600 R runtime
 

Hi, I have a few questions regarding my J600 R

My turbine has now runned 19 hrs and have 166 starts.


When is it recommended to send it to overhaul?
What are they doing at overhaul?
Price for overhaul?

It’s a good engine so I want to take care of it.

Hi Ilsan,

Thank you. In overhaul, we check overall condition of starter/Bendix, fuel/Oil tubings, O-rings, bearings, compressor/turbine, wirings, etc..so we check everything bringing the engine back to new condition. We also upgrade the electronics (GDT/TEMS) to the latest versions.

Cost to overhaul is shipping plus labor which will run around US$200-300 excluding parts replacement. The actual overhaul cost will be quoted for approval prior to actual work.

Is it 20 hrs or 25 hrs that is recomendet for overhaul?

Its 150 starts or 20 hours for the J600R.
