Kraivuth,

Just noticed the new 1600R announcement on your website. Wondering is this is brand new design or based on 1300? If its based on 1300, can the 1300 be upgraded?

Hi,

J1600R is a new engine. Even though many parts may look common with the J1300R, upgrade is not possible. J1600R incorporates totally new compressor / turbine wheels. Critical part like the combustion chamber is totally different.

Look forward to the release of this new engine. I have 2 projects coming up and the 1600 should be just the right match. Hope you have reduced the spool up and down time compared to 1300?
