Default Fred Burgdorf Tribute Race

I didnt know Fred very well but I knew all of his airplanes I saw were black. As I wanted to participate in his tribute race for all that he did for pylon racing I made myself a new airplane and painted it primarilly black to honor him. Now I only wish I could fly it well enough to make him happy!

I hope to see all of you out at the basin for this race to support Pylon and Fred.

Looks great Dave! Now get practicing so your flying looks more like Fred, and less like Schorr!

D. E. Just wanted to thank you for the painting & finishing tips. This is my latest, it's a GR7 from Matt Russell. I've eliminated the cowl & canted the motor down, got rid of the gravel collecting wheel pants and took great pains to make sure everything was either straight or aligned properly. Thanks again, Kommander.
