Fred Burgdorf Tribute Race
I didnt know Fred very well but I knew all of his airplanes I saw were black. As I wanted to participate in his tribute race for all that he did for pylon racing I made myself a new airplane and painted it primarilly black to honor him. Now I only wish I could fly it well enough to make him happy!
I hope to see all of you out at the basin for this race to support Pylon and Fred.

D. E. Just wanted to thank you for the painting & finishing tips. This is my latest, it's a GR7 from Matt Russell. I've eliminated the cowl & canted the motor down, got rid of the gravel collecting wheel pants and took great pains to make sure everything was either straight or aligned properly.
