There are some pictures posted on the NMPRA site.
As to winners. Top three finishers were Dave Shadell, Gary Schmidt, and A.J. Seaholm. There planes were Miss Candace, Allen Proud Bird, Larson Proud Bird.
That surprised me a bit with all the fricken polecats there

Dave,
That just goes to show that the plane is only part of the equation. Fingers, is a PLUS!!!
What can be said about MR. SHADEL. He should have stayed in retirement!
Had a blast! The racing was top notch and the extra curriculars were worth the trip.
Dan
PS. Polecats took the top 3 fast times. The next two fast times were by a Larson Vendetta

What I saw of the seasoning, was something like "Season All", Garlic Salt, Black Pepper, Brown Sugar, then something like Kraft Sun dried tomato seasoning.
I know the old guys the next day spent quite a while cleaning the grill
Yep, fingers are a plus, must have left mine at home. Great weekend as always, they do a fantastic job of running a race.
Was very suprised to see so many people out on Thursday to practice.

Lots of people went under 1:04 and still didn't win their heats, I lost heats that I did a 1:02 and 1:03. 7 different people did 1:02's or better, and 10 more did 1:03's. Almost every airplane is represented in those 17.....here they are with the fastest time for each design.
9 Polecats (1:00.99)
2 Vendettas (1:01.76)
1 Candace (1:02.21)
1 Allen Proud Bird (1:02.25)
2 Ashleys (1.:03.17)
2 Burgdorf Proud Birds (1:03.27)
With the racing so tight, it's amazing that there weren't more crashes.

Your right Gary, on Sunday, my worst time was a 1:05 something and I got only 1-1st, 2-2nds', and a 3rd. Lots of tough heats.
The carnage was low, but it seemed that those that lost one plane lost there backups also. Jacob, Joanne, and Mike.

Yeah, the carnage was tough for those that had it. After last year, when I lost two, I was just glad to go home with my airplane. I didn't even have a backup with me this year.
