I would assume that the instructions would be extremely similar to that of the Polecat.

Check this link to get started, I'm sure DK can fill in any additional questions.

Notice the nice Metallic green in the instructions...

thanks but i think i will keep it :D

when i make a cut out for the elevator pushrod in the back, how is it then covered ?
also is the 6mm firewall, strong enough , or should i make a thicker wall

Daven , the wings seem to be fairly heavy, how heavy are your polecat wings ?

i guess i will have lots of questions ,

thanks all

IZZY,

I have recently moved and don't have access to my workshop. I can't tell you the wing weight, and metric measurements mean little to me.

If you have questions, you should contact Dan Kane or Bruce DeChastel. Dan checks in occasionally here, hopefully he will comment.

As to how the cutout is covered, I used a chunk of painted glass from where the cutout in the engine access area was. Either that, or a couple pieces of speed tape will cover the hole nicely.

Daven thanks

I did not get cover for the elevator opening, so i guess i need to make that

the engine bay is different so i cant use that

regarding te elevator halves, dont they get glues to the fuse, or are they meant to stay removable , looks scary to think thay stay on atached on their own.

also i would have thought that the wing halves have some sort of aligning pin or second tube , am i mistaken

thanks for your help
izzy

RE: new loki

The elevator halves are hooked to each other with the aluminum joiner. The gap between the elevators and the fuse is simply covered with tape. You do not need to glue the elevators to the fuse.

The wing hold down bolts and the fuse saddle take care of the alignment. Once the wing is bolted down, where can it go? It does not need alignment pins.

Izzy,

I hope to have loki instructions up on the SuperT site in the next couple of weeks. (Dave they will be nice metallic green too!!)

The loki wing is a bit heavier, due to the two landing gear blocks in the wing. The Polecat does not have these parts installed therefore does not carry the extra weight. Travis Flynn flew the Loki and PHX and turned a 1:00 and his plane was a little over an ounce above minimum.

IF you have specific questions feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Dan
