Spektrum A5030 / A5040 for Q500?

Spektrum A5030 / A5040 for Q500?
Has anyone had any experience with the Spektrum A5030 / A5040 servos in 424 or 426? A friend recommended them. The specs look great, but I remember reading something about them not working real well at 6 volts. Thanks

I have some experience with both A5030 & A5040 servos- and they have all been nervous at six volts. Because of this, they havenever made it to the 424or 426airframes.
I do however use them on my EF-1 airframeswith a 4.8 volt receiver pack and they have worked flawlessly so far.

I have used Spektrum 5030s in the V-tail of my AMA 428 NEME -Q on a 6 Volt 800mAh battery for about 4 months now with great results.
I recommend 5030s for tails and 5040s for ailerons (5040s have metal gears 5030s have nylon gears).

I have 10 of the old H 5000 servos and I have yet to have a problem with them and will be using them in my 424 planes next season.
