Sonic 500 ARF?
Sonic 500,
I have a sonic 500, and its one of the best flying quickees I own. This is the same plane as the venerable China Clipper.
It flies great, but speed wise will have a tough time keeping up with a predator.
I have one that is about 3 years old that I won a lot of races with, but with the modern airfoils, it tends to struggle to keep up. Great starter plane, but I wouldn't expect to finish in the top 3 with this plane.

Nik,
Have you had breakfast at MOI lately? Or is it just a Wrightsville Beach thing?
I'm in Monroe, NC, just outside of Charlotte. My sister lives at Wrightsville Beach, and the drive from here to there and back is not too bad now that they have the 74 bypass around Hamlet and Rockingham.
I hope to have my field ready for some racing next year. Including, but not limited to 424. The Bermuda grass is already coming up on the 800' x 75' main runway, and I planted a 150' wide by 250' long area for the pylon takeoff pad today.
