Default Candy Kane gets Evolution 46 NX Engine

The Candy Kane also makes an excellent 424 model.

The Thunder Tiger Pro 40 (TT) is no longer available. The replacement 424 engine will be the Evolution 46 NX with the one-piece muffler. This new engine provides very similar performance to the TT, which can still be used.

How is the CG now with the swap of engines?

The Evolution engine weighs about the same as the TT Pro 40. I added a couple quarters to the tail balance the model.

Actually, Dub Jett has a new muffler and venturi that drop into the 426 engine that de-tune it to performance similar to the TTpro 40 and Evo 46. This new muffler and venturi combo with Dub's engine is now legal for 424 racing. Yes, it's more expensive than an Evo or TTpro, but on the plus side, you can get them, parts are available, which is a big plus.
