North Texas Pylon Racing schedule for 2016
Howdy Q-25/C-40 & EF-1 Racers!
The N. Tx. Pylon Racing Org's 1st Q-25 & EF-1 Pylon Racing Event for 2016 is June 18th, 2016.
This will be a 2 Pylon Course, 400 feet between Pylons.
We will be alternating classes between Q-25 & EF-1.
Registration will be at 10 AM, 1st race will be at 11 AM.
Event Fe will be $15.
Lunch will be available for $5.
Golden Triangle R/C Club is hosting event.
Location will be at Jim Fulton Field, 2820 Seeton Road, Grand Prairie, TX. 75054.
GPS: 32 deg 34 min 11.09 sec N, & 97 deg 2 min 40.07 sec W.

I have posted the dates for the 2016 N. Tx. Pylon Racing Org's Pylon Races on:
AMA Event Calendar (all N. Tx. Pylon Racing Events are AMA Sanctioned.
2[SUP] nd[/SUP] of 3 Q-25/C-40 & EF-1 will be August 20[SUP] th[/SUP], 2016, at Thunderbird Field. Gary James, [email protected], is working on making this race a 3 Pylon Short Course Event. Will confirm later. Depends on amount of Support Personnel needed/obligated prior to Event. If the 3 Pylon Course does not happen, we will do the regular 2 Pole Short Course (same as above).
3[SUP] rd[/SUP] of 3 Q-25/C-40 & EF-1 will be October 15[SUP] th[/SUP], 2016, at Golden Triangle RC Field. This will be a 2 Pole 400 Ft. Short Course also!
November 19[SUP] th[/SUP]& 20[SUP] th[/SUP], 2016 , Gary James is planning a Class A 2 Day Event, another 3 Pole Short Course for AMA-424, & AMA-426. If you have never seen these 424 & 426 Events, you need to plan on attending!!!

Well, it was a scorcher today for Q-25 race #1 here in North Texas. The temperature topped out at about 98 deg but it was really the humidity that made it tough. Wind was a light left crosswind, and that helped out a bit. It was a well flown race with some good heats. Here are the results.
