Pylon Receivers
Hi all, I am about to invest in some new receivers for the upcoming season. I have been using Hitec 555's, but am looking at buying JR 700 and/or 770s PCM. Is PCM the way to go for pylon? Only $20 difference, so that is not an issue. Paul

RE: Pylon Receivers
Paul,
I have several of the JR 700s (FM) and love them ... however, if I had it to do over again, I'd get the PCM for only $20 more. I'm now a believer in PCM. For racing it's helpful to be able to program in a fail-safe setting of low or shutoff for the throttle and neutral or "last input" for everything else.

RE: Pylon Receivers
Hi,
JR 700s are very good recievers. Light too. I guess the extra security of having control surfaces to go to pre-set posisitions in the 770 is useful too. There's plenty of info on FMvsPCM here.
